The Brackenfell Baptist Church is a community committed to worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ, the fullest expression thereof being found in our desire to live in absolute surrender to his will and purpose. This intent captured in our church vision statement, “Doing life God’s way”.

The word “life” in turn speaks of all we are and all we do as a church. This word has become an acronym defining the nature and expression of our obedience to Christ.

L – for loving God, loving people, which is Great Commandment.

I – for investing time, gifts and resources, which speaks of the commitment to discipleship and the Great Commission,

F – is for faithful to Scripture, which speaks of our commitment to correctly handling the Word of God.

E – is for experiential faith, which speaks of our commitment to practicing and applying our Christian faith in everyday life and experience as opposed to allowing it to become theoretical and dislocated from reality.

This then is our mission statement – LIFE.
